The 82 year old actress has ditched her dresses for British Vogue’s July LGBTQ+ Pioneers issue.
It took a lot for the UK-Australian star and “mischief-maker-in-chief” to strip off as she admitted in the interview that she “hates” her body.

“I hate my body. I hate big t*ts … [I have] a drooping belly, little twisted legs,” she said in the July Pride issue.
“I’m not thrilled with that. But you just make the best of it. You have to. You do the best you can.”
Margolyes popularity is at an all-time high, having worked in the entertainment biz since the 60’s, it’s TikTok and social media that has her popularity booming with raw, real and relatable snippets of her shows and interviews doing the rounds and bringing joy to younger generations.

When she was asked about it she replied in her typical honest fashion, “I’m lucky enough to still be interesting, I suppose.”

Her honesty and often unfiltered conversations were on full display during her Vogue interview where the star said that she thinks “gay people are very lucky, because we are not conventional, we are a group slightly apart. It gives us an edge. We’re good artists, we’re good musicians. And I like being gay. I wouldn’t want to be straight for anything.”
