A destructive 4.8 magnitude earthquake has hit parts of New South Wales, the epicentre being in Denman – 250km North of Sydney, this afternoon, causing schools to evacuate and causing damage to homes and buildings.

Luckily, there have been no reports of injuries at this time.

“The tremor…it was a massive earthquake, the whole house rattled,” one person shared on air.

“The whole car was rocking around,” another said.

So scary, stay safe out there!
