A magnitude 4.1 earthquake struck in Victoria’s High Country early this morning. 1500 people “felt reports” for the tremor near Woods Point at 3.48am. It was measured at a depth of eight kilometres.
Luckily no one has been injured, and only minor damage has been reported in affected areas. An alert went out this morning to surrounding areas stating “This earthquake has been felt in Wangaratta, Benalla, South Morang, Healesville, Yarra Junction and Dargo… The earthquake has resulted in little to no reported damage.”
