I have VIVD memories of watching ‘Hook’ as a child, it was incredible. Robin Williams as some strange adaption of an older Peter Pan, Hook reeeallly not liking clocks and that imaginary feast? I loved every minute of it.
That’s why hearing about the new live-action retelling of Peter Pan’s story had me WORRIED. I was stressed they were going to tar a wonderful memory but have no fear younger me, it looks fantastic.
Starring Jude Law as a creepy Captain Hook, Alexander Moloney as Peter Pan, Ever Anderson as Wendy, Yara Shahidi as Tinker Bell and Jim Gaffigan as Mr Smee the line up is awesome AND you’ll get to see them all in action as soon as the film is available. ‘Peter Pan & Wendy’ is premiering on Disney+ 28th April.
