After the trio cancelled its Australian tour back in 2020 thanks to you-know-what, Weezer is finally making a return to Australia for a series of headline shows.
Melburnians can see them in all their alt-rock glory Friday 6 October at John Cain Arena and if you’re in Sydney, you’ll be lucky enough to catch them supporting KISS as special guests, in what has been dubbed the leather-clad, rock-gods’ last-ever Australian concert.
Expect to hear their mellow, feel-good hit ‘Island in The Sun’, along with more of the LA-band’s best-known tunes including ‘Buddy Holly’, Say It Ain’t So’ and ‘Beverly Hills’.
Tickets to Weezer’s 2023 Australia Tour go on sale Tuesday, 15 August.
